We are pleased to announce that Koru UX Design has been awarded Honorable Mention in the 2019 Creative Communication Award (C2A) for our entry ‘Simplifying Medicaid Applications.’ We have been featured in the UI & UX Design – User Experience Design category.
Our submitted entry was an application design that simplified the popular Medicaid Application Process in the United States. Even though Medicaid is a significant feature of the American Welfare System, it has struggled to offer a user-friendly experience for the agents who facilitate the process as well as the elderly citizens enrolling for it.
We designed this project for our client, a leading healthcare consultant, who wanted to introduce an improved and simplified interface for both agents and applicants. The goal was to streamline the lengthy process so that senior citizens can get the benefits of assisted medical care by limiting the hassles of the application process. A detailed case study on how we applied our unique methodology and solved the challenges can be read here.
The C2A is organized by the Farmani Group as the sister-concern of the International Design Awards. The C2A was born as a result of recognizing the need for a program dedicated to discovering and awarding excellence in Communication Design on an international level. The nominations for the awards were submitted earlier this year in June.
The jury for the prestigious award featured renowned design experts from organizations such as Amazon, Unicef, Pinterest, among others. The judging criteria are guided by a variety of factors including design excellence, creativity, originality, utility, impact, and emotional significance.
This is the third recognition that we have received this year and we are truly thrilled by the hat trick. We are thankful to our customers who trust us with crucial projects which have enormous social impact. Their faith in us and recognitions like these fuel our motivation and challenge us to keep up the winning streak!
